What a wonderful workshop this week with Graeme Sait. Everyone who has heard Graeme talk before learned something new and those who were seeing him for the first time learned lots. These pics were where we looked at the concept of brewing your own microbes to improve soil and plant health.

Rod Karger will be presenting a workshop (Sustainable Soil Fertility Management) for CQSHS current members at the Eton Rural Fire Station Shed, 18 Barrier St, ETON this Saturday, 18th April, 2023, commencing at 8.30 am sharp. (Open at 8 am for registration.)
This workshop will be for the whole day with Morning tea and Lunch provided. Free entry for members.
Many members are familiar with Rod's workshops, having been in attendance on previous occasions.
Program for the workshop this Saturday includes:
Soil fertility experiences growing beef and dairy pastures
Nitrogen availability
Nitrogen fixation by legumes
Farm gate nutrient removal (beef)
Soil testing and interpretation
Soil texture guide
Calculation kg/ha of elements required
Increasing soil PH
Sugarcane fertiliser requirements after ideal legume crop
